The main subject of my work is the turtle, Earth’s most distinct genera of animals. Turtles are largely beloved throughout the world. Unfortunately, it is not widely known that turtles are the most vulnerable group of animals on the planet. Over half of its 360 species faces extinction. Many of the pieces on display in this exhibit reflect their plight. Through creativity, I strive to raise awareness of turtles and inform the world that they are in trouble and need our help.
