The Call That Changed Everything:

Honoring EMTs and Paramedics 25 Years later

September 10, 2026- October 10, 2026

On September 11, 2001, a call came that changed the world forever. In the midst of unimaginable tragedy and uncertainty, EMTs, paramedics, and emergency medical personnel answered that call—running toward danger when others were trying to escape it.

This exhibit honors the men and women who responded on 9/11 and the many emergency medical professionals who continue to serve their communities today. Their courage, compassion, and commitment to saving lives became a powerful reminder of the strength of the human spirit during one of the darkest moments in our history.

Twenty-five years later, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those who survived and carried the memories with them, and the countless first responders whose dedication continues to inspire generations.

The Call That Changed Everything is a tribute to service, sacrifice, resilience, and the enduring legacy of those who answered the call when their communities needed them most.
