Maria Guillen

María Guillen, an Ecuadorian, immigrated to the United States in 1980 with the goal of advancing her career and achieving success. In a country where individuals must create their own opportunities, María faced many obstacles, but she never lost faith in herself. Keeping her dreams in sight, she continued to pursue her goals. María began her university studies in Ecuador and later continued her academic preparation at Baruch College in New York City. Her perseverance and dedication allowed her to embark on a successful career in banking. Her tenacity and commitment enabled her to take on various roles within the banking field. She was eventually promoted to Vice Assistant Chair of the Residential Mortgage Lending Department.
