Biography

The artist lives and works in Warsaw. Since 2010 belongs to the group “Visionary Art” founded by Otto Rapp. She is a member of the international association – Society of Art of Imagination in London, whose honorary patron is well known surrealist Austrian prof. Ernst Fuchs. Her work has been published in the catalogs Imaginaire V, Imaginaire VI, Visionary Art Yearbook 2010-2011. She presented her work at exhibitions in Poland, Austria, Italy, the USA, Mexico, and Russia. She paints mainly in pastel technique, occasionally oil.

Artist Statement 

My paintings are a kind of diary, record of emotions, dreams, memories which are very personal. In my works, I’m looking for the relationship between what is real and transcendental, metaphysical. Painting is my passion. It’s a kind of meditation, emotional and spiritual cleansing. It’s the thing that lives deep inside me far beyond the consciousness, that I bring into the daylight. In this way, I’m getting to know myself
