Programming

The Gallery programming is multifaceted exploring the many genres of art and culture that engage our audience’s senses. Serving the local population of Queens our programming is planned with the intent of making art accessible to the community.

Our annual exhibition schedule presents a diverse selection of work from traditional and cultural art through contemporary that are of local and national interest. In addition, the Gallery hosts annual performances, lectures, and film screenings.

The Gallery’s theatre provides another dimension of programming for our patrons, in a state-of-the-art facility. Throughout the years, the gallery has hosted numerous films and lectures in conjunction with its current exhibitions. The theatre is also a welcome venue for the Department of Art and Design used for curriculum-based screenings. During club hours, it offers students a weekly array of documentaries on art and artists.
