Javier Cambre is an accomplished artist as well as an Associate Professor in the Art and Design Department at QCC/CUNY. The subjects of his work often retain an air of mystery and aura of inscrutability that renders them irresistible.
Javier’s paintings, sculptures, videos, and photographs have been displayed in some of the most prestigious venues, including the Whitney, El Museo del Barrio, and most recently, our own QCC Art Gallery.
